The morning tour in Venice is perfect for those with less time in Venice, taking at most four hours start to end. Half day tours are also suitable for those with too little kayaking experience to take on the longer tours.
The tour is mostly paddling the smaller canals in the city, in the sestiere Castello and San Marco.
Typical itinerary for a morning tour in Venice
The morning tour in Venice starts at 9:15 in the bar of the Certosa hotel, so we’re ready in our kayaks around 10, with a return to the Certosa between 13 and 14.
Half day tours are around 8-10km paddling, and they’re normally done without any break.
Groups can be up to 6 persons. Larger groups can be arranged, but must be agreed upon well in advance, as we have to find an assistant guide for larger groups.
Private tours are available on request, if booked well in advance.
The morning tour in Venice is scheduled regularly from late March to late October. Outside the main season they are done a bit later due to the shorter daylight hours.
