Venice Kayaks offers several different paddling experiences in Venice and surroundings.
Day trips in Venice
A holiday in Venice can be made even more special by adding a day in kayak. Venice is a city on water, and much of it cannot even be seen unless you’re in a boat.
We’ll start at the Lido in the morning and paddle wherever you want at your pace. We’ll return to the Lido in the afternoon before sunset.
Evening trips in Venice
Paddling in the dark down the Canal Grande, under the illuminated Rialto Bridge, past the Salute church and through the narrow, unlit canals behind St. Mark’s is an experience beyond the normal.
Three days paddling in Venice
A kayaking holiday in Venice don’t have to exclude ‘normal’ tourist activities. Venice Kayak can make a half kayaking holiday, where we paddle together three days during a week’s stay in Venice. The three days don’t have to be consecutive, as long as they’re agreed upon in advance.
Six days paddling in Venice
A full week’s paddling in Venice will leave few canals in the city unexplored. With six paddling days in Venice there’s enough time to explore most of the city, and still have time for Murano, Burano, Torcello, the lagoon and an evening paddle through the Canal Grande after dark and even a visit to a local rowing club to learn to row standing up, like in a gondola.

Kayak club offers
Venice Kayak can offer kayak clubs a 20% discount if the club can gather a group of 8-12 participants of which at least one is a certified kayak coach who can work together with our group guide.
