Find Venice Kayak from the Lido di Venezia
Venice Kayak is based on the Lido di Venezia, near S. Nicolò. From the bus and vaporetto terminal on the Lido (called Lido S.M.E.) the two bus lines A and B passes close by the camp site where Venice Kayak is based.
Bus A does the direct route as shown on the map below. Bus B does a slightly longer trip, along the beaches before returning to the lagoon side.
In both cases, press the STOP button in the bus when passing in front of the Church of S. Nicolò. The bus then turns at a roundabout before stopping. Continue on foot for another 300m, keeping the water on the left, to the end of the road where the entrance to the camp site is on the right.
The distance from Lido S.M.E. to the camp site is approx. 2km, a 25 minutes walk along the edge of the lagoon, with a splendid view of Venice across the lagoon.

Bus schedule for 2009
The bus A departs Lido S.M.E. at 04, 24 and 44 minutes past the hour, and arrives at the roundabout about 5 minutes later.
The bus B departs Lido S.M.E. at 14, 34 and 52 minutes past the hour, and arrives at the roundabout about 10 minutes later.
Bus A at 8:44 is sufficient to meet at the camp site at 9:00.
